- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a pan, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and grated Parmesan cheese. Add the freshly ground black pepper.
- Once the spaghetti is done, reserve a cup of the pasta water, then drain the spaghetti and add it to the pan with bacon and garlic.
- Remove from heat and quickly mix in the egg and cheese mixture, adding reserved pasta water as necessary to create a creamy sauce.
- Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and black pepper.
